    • Process

      The Lyceum Marketplaces are curated on a rolling admission basis.  We seek to program a vibrant mix of repeat and new artisans and purveyors.  We collect up applications and create the market organically, accepting the same way one would build a sculpture out of clay.  Thus we do not do all of the acceptances at one time, even for a particular category.

       

      Once we have selected an artisan an acceptance email is sent with a link to the registration page.

      The selected artisan then has 10 days to complete the paperwork and submit payment.

      If the selected artisan does not complete the paperwork and pay on time the slot is released and given to another artisan.

      Lyceum Marketplaces are designed to get the shopper out of the malls and into the local handmade/artist/artisan scene.

      To that end the Lyceum marketplaces have raffles for some interesting things.  You can't get a raffle ticket without a proof of purchase form a marketplace vendor.  So, come early and load up for birthdays. anniversaries, the holidays and just in general.

LyceumMarketplaces

Three times a year the Brooklyn Lyceum is host to a Marketplace. Spring, Fall and Holiday.

Each marketplace is held on a Saturday and a Sunday from 11AM-7PM both days.

The Lyceum is located at :

  • 227 4th Avenue
  • Brooklyn, NY  11215
  • R train to Union Street
  • Corner of President Street

 

The Lyceum is located where Park Slope ends and the neighborhood of Gowanus begins.
